The Power of Art - Julie Quottrup Silbermann | CHART

How do we make the green transition acceptable, desirable and irresistible for both young people, adults and the elderly? Art could perhaps be part of the answer.

The New European Bauhaus initiative connects the European Green Deal to our daily lives and living spaces, by bridging the worlds of art, design, architecture, culture, and education with science and technology in the green transition.

One of the expert organisations | stakeholders in our New European Bauhaus lighthouse project Desire - Designing an Irresistible Circular Society is CHART (a nonprofit organisation – and a leading Nordic art fair).

CHART has helped us to understand how art can play a role in the new circular society and the changes required in the green transition. In this podcast, Director Julie Quottrup Silbermann explains the power of art.

This is the Desire Academy podcast series, where Desire members, staff and academics share knowledge about the Desire sites around Europe - and how to transform our society to be more circular and irresistible.

Desire is funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or CINEA. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
